This is it the last day – gary headed over to his mum’s for a little mother/son time – ahhhh so sweet and I slept – ahhhhhh – ok so the house started stirring at 10:45amGMT and ed was on the oatcake express as he was fixing the brunch we had a too short visit from faye and andy and little jack – jack is so sweet and clever
after oatcakes there was rockband madness
then we got all cleaned up and headed over to the mathers’s house to see – well lets face it - we went to meet little martha nancy – pete and alex’s 4 week old bundle of such pink precious JOY! – we then headed over to the martin’s for one last visit – we were meeting everyone out for a farewell dinner but the in-laws already had other plans – so stopped to have a special farewell tea with them -
We headed to the miller and carter steakhouse – it was this really cool renovated farmhouse – so cool - GREAT COMPANY and delicious grub
AND of course no evening in Alsager would be complete without a stop by the LODGE for a pint or two or three – I even got to be the designated driver - it is soooooooo weird to drive in the wrong side of the road I tell ya.
Headed home for 4 hours kip - then it is up up and away to FL in the AM J
p.s. i will miss you TURK

AMY MACDONALD TONIGHT @ the academy manchester – what will this day unfold?????
GAZ headed for an early tee off with his dad at 8am – I slept as well as ed and anne – it was a very late night - for a change Once gary got home we headed out to get JOELLE !!!!!!!!!! from the train station in STOKE – notice there is not an arrivial pic of jo – well I forgot my camera – dang it – it was the first time this whole trip that I did not have the sucker around my neck - OH WELL - so we got joelle and headed back to ALSAGER and went to bank corner for a tea and spot of lunch
We were back to ed and anne’s where we hung out and cleaned up and got the camera rewrapped around my neck and headed to manchester
before amy the 5 of us went to this place-WAGAMAMA for a bite - have you heard of it ?
ok AMY we are here and ready to rock and roll with you - i mean look at the gazza - he has his dance face on :)
AMY totally delivered- amazing show - great company - i got alittle vid for you to watch below - enjoy !
after the show – we all had a cadbury crème egg mcflurry – all the talk and i have to say it were only ok - too much ice cream not enough creme egg (that was the general consensus anyway) -
Alsager bound – when we got home there was some jimmy carr to watch on the telly and then us ladies went to sleep while the boys stayed up and played xbox and had wind match - so boy and soooo minging (there you go ed) - ps enjoy the AMY clip (below)

SNOW – holy crap – we woke up to snowing in bets-y-coed so we headed out of town toward caernefon – ok picture this bets-y-coed has a road in and a road out of town – there is like a forks in that road about 1mile east and 4 miles west away from the town – well as we heading the four miles west toward caernefon we got to the fork and both ways were snowed in so we heading back to town rerouted our plan and headed kinda north toward conway - FYI about 5 hours later we got word from a shop keeper in the old walled city of conway that bets-y-coed was now snowed in from all roads – if we had waited just alittle later we would have been snowed in – would that have been a bad thing ???? no
so just driving and seeing beautiful things in wales - so stunning
Regardless we did make it unsnowed in to conway - it is a very old walled city – so cool - we had a bit of a drive around
and then I got the feeling that there are GBers who do not think that PM gordon brown is doing a great job.
parked and climbed the stairs to the city’s wall and walked – it was freezing but beautiful and I got some cute shots of train tracks and seagulls and little ferns growing out of the wall and a castle
after climbing down the slippy cold staircase it was time for some lunch – we headed into this warm cheerful quaint little tea house – and we had of all things tea – and sandwiches
before we knew it we were back onto the cold wet streets of conway – we popped into some little shops
after our little walk we headed for the car and llandudno where there was some shopping to be done – BOOTS and MONSOON and JJB SPORTS GEAR - below is just another beautiful spire on the hwy ... come on :)
we then headed back toward Alsager for our sicken traditional morrison shopping trip (snowing again) and then a late night chinese with our hosts ed and anne ( seems like we have not seen them in FOREVER )
snowing again - ok it is mostly slush but to us floridians it is like when do we build the snow man - ok no snowman no white stuff stuck
